Antony Interlandi - A Thief in the Net

While immitation may be the most sincere form of flattery, theft of intellectual property is just plain old theft.  It certainly appears that Antony Interlandi, resident of Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, is just an plain old thief.  He has copied full sections of pages from cellarnotes.net and other web sites and presents them as his own on his web site.  Apparently not caring about the copyright laws and intellectual property laws, our littly Antony has ignored requests to remove the material.  One who takes what belongs to others is a thief.

On Antony Interlani's web site he egotistically claims:

"I am an accomplished senior IT professional..." (He can turn on a computer?)
"I have exposure to diverse technologies..."     (He can turn on a micorwave?)
"I have a Consultative leadership style..."     (Blah, blah, blah...)
"I am an acknowledged trouble-shooter..."   (Or, in this case, a trouble causer.)
"I am a polished communicator with acknowledged... (Acknowledged by whom?)
"I have a star named after me..."   (Does this just prove he's so cool, or that he is a narcissist?)

It appears that Antony Interlandi has such an ultra high opinion of himself that he cannot be bothered by the rights of all the little people. (That would be all of us who are not Antony Interlandi.)
If you view his site, www.interlandi.net, and click on his link to Food & Drink, you will find a link to Wine and beyond that, a link "About Wine Grape Varieties".   The next page and all the grape variety descriptions were lifted directly from cellarnotes.net.   The only thing I've seen that little Antony added were links to some piss-poor pronunciation files.  These are presumably in egotisitical Antony's own voice.
Now copying someone else's internet site may not seem a big deal to you, but it usually is to the one who spent the time researching the material and creating the web pages and site.   I normally give permission to use material from cellarnotes.net to those who ask and are willing to put a link to cellarnotes.net with the material.  Antony Interlandi never asked or received permission.
As an aside, if you happen to look at most of the food recipes on his site, you'll find most are not for the dishes he lists but for an eggnog recipe that is found word-for-word elsewhere on the web.  Even the few real recipes on his site can be found elsewhere.   Really nice job, Antony.....NOT!    Even the family tree information on his site appears to have been copied from genealogy.com.
I have sent e-mails to Antony Interlandi over the years asking him to remove my material from his site but he has just ingored them.   Perhaps putting this page up will cause his father, Santo Interlandi, or his mother, Valerie, or one of his children, Bryson, Logan and Rhylan will see or hear about this and will prevail on him to do the right thing.
I have contacted a lot of people over the years about copyright violations and almost all of them have either removed my material or have come to an agreement about linking to cellarnotes.net and giving due credit for the source of the material.   I have never had to deal with someone so seemingly arrogant as our little Antony Interlandi.
It really causes me to wonder if I would ever want to do business in any field that Antony crows his accomplishments (Computer programming, Wind Turbines, Aircraft pilot).   If an individual cannot be courteous enough to respect the legal rights of others, or be talented enough to actually produce the work that he presents as his own; would he put in the real effort to do a good job for me?   Would an individual who cuts corners with little things be trusted to do the right things for his client?   If the true test of a person is what they actually do rather than what they crow about themselves then little Antony Interlandi is looking very bad at this point.
If you know Antony Interlandi, please ask him to do the right thing and remove my content from his site.
