appellation.

History:
Emigrants to Bordeaux
from Ireland, the Lynch family gained a certain prominence,
and by 1749 owned the large domain of 'Bages' south of Pauillac.
After 1824 a series of owners controlled the estate. The
Cazes family took control in 1935, and Lynch Bages is now the
beautiful property of the well-known Jean-Michel Cazes.
