Columbard
Colombard
(also known as French Colombard) makes simple, fresh white wines
that are high in acid. The variety will tolerate warm growing regions.
Colombard is the second most planted grape in California and is
often blended into generic white wines. Columbard is a heavy producer
and can regularly give crops of more than 10 tons per acre.
